Academician Chen Xiaohong Invited to Attend 10th Dong Shahu China Management Forum 100 and Deliver Keynote Speech

On October 28, the 10th Dong Shahu China Management Forum 100 grandly opened in Suzhou. Professor Chen Xiaohong, Secretary of CPC HUTB Committee, Director of Xiangjiang Laboratory, and an academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering, was invited to attend the conference and deliver a keynote speech.
Academician Chen Xiaohong gave a comprehensive presentation on the topic "Empowering Industrial Transformation and Management Innovation with Artificial Intelligence", covering the forms and challenges of technological innovation in the digital economy era, the development and frontier trends of artificial intelligence technology, and the empowerment of industrial transformation and management practices through artificial intelligence.
In the report, Academician Chen Xiaohong pointed out that in the era of the digital economy, the innovation and application of artificial intelligence technology are expanding to a broader scope, higher levels, and deeper extents, becoming an important driving force for industrial innovation and development, leading to profound changes in industrial innovation. Academician Chen introduced the practical experience of high-level scientific and technological innovation platforms such as the Xiangjiang Laboratory in supporting the development of industrial innovation. She also elucidated how artificial intelligence technology is applied to empower innovation practices and the resulting social contributions in typical fields such as smart society, intelligent manufacturing, and resource and energy environment.
Finally, Academician Chen Xiaohong emphasized that achieving the digital and intelligent innovation of industrial development and management is still a long and arduous task. Faced with the historical juncture of empowering industrial transformation and upgrading through artificial intelligence technology, it is necessary to firmly grasp the opportunities brought by the new generation of technology, strengthen innovation-driven and digital and intelligent empowerment, construct a cross-integrated management innovation system, promote digital industrialization and industrial digitization, and seize the commanding heights of future development.
At this forum, the "China Management Annual Value Individual", "China Management Annual Value Organization", and "China Management Annual Value Case" for 2022-2023 were announced. Academician Chen Xiaohong was awarded the "China Management Annual Value Individual" award in recognition and tribute to her leadership in building the "computing power, algorithm, computing basis, and computing network" centers at Xiangjiang Laboratory, strengthening the technical breakthroughs in addressing the challenging issues in related fields, resulting in groundbreaking and disruptive original achievements, and contributing significantly to the construction of a national big data service support system with strategic scientific and technological forces.
