HUTB Teacher Awarded "Most Beautiful Public Welfare Legal Education Individual"

Recently, Professor Deng Lianrong from the School of Marxism Studies was awarded the title of "Most Beautiful Public Welfare Legal Education Individual" for the year 2023 in Hunan Province. Out of the 10 recipients across the province, Professor Deng Lianrong is the only teacher who received this honor.
The "Most Beautiful Public Welfare Legal Education Collective (Individual)" award was initiated in 2018 and is jointly organized by the Publicity Department of CPC Hunan Provincial Committee, the Hunan Provincial Civilization Office, and the Justice Department of Hunan Province. Through recommendations from various cities, prefectures, and relevant units, and after a series of screenings and online voting, the final selection was made by an evaluation committee composed of experts, legal professionals, and media representatives. Each year, 10 "Most Beautiful Public Welfare Legal Education Collectives" and 10 "Most Beautiful Public Welfare Legal Education Individuals" are determined, and certificates are issued by the Publicity Department of CPC Hunan Provincial Committee, the Hunan Provincial Civilization Office, and the Justice Department of Hunan Province.
In recent years, Professor Deng Lianrong has conducted over a hundred sessions of legal education for the theoretical study centers of Party committees (Party organizations) at various levels and for leading cadres. He adheres to thorough preparation, delves deep into the subjects, and emphasizes pre-communication of legal information, clarification of doubts during legal education, and continuous post-education communication. Professor Deng employs a comprehensive approach, including case-based, heuristic, and interactive methods in legal education, which has been widely recognized. From 2019 to 2021, the Office of the Comprehensive Law-based Governance Committee of the CPC Hunan Committee and the Justice Department of Hunan Province invited him for three consecutive years to deliver lectures at the provincial legal education backbone training sessions and comprehensive law-based governance work business training sessions.
In addition to on-site legal education, Deng Lianrong has also conducted legal education through radio, television, and the internet, and has been involved in writing related legal education works. From 2012 to 2014, he served as the deputy editor-in-chief of the annual legal education reader for three consecutive years in Hunan Province during the "Sixth Five-Year Plan" period. In April 2018, he delivered lectures on General Secretary Xi Jinping's important expositions on governing the country and administering according to the constitution at Hunan Provincial Cadre Education and Training Network College. The lecture videos were uploaded online and included in the province-wide cadre learning task list. He wrote an article titled "Xi Jinping's Legal Thought as an Organic Whole", based on his preaching experiences, which was published in the Qiushi Journal. In 2006, Deng Lianrong was appointed to join the Hunan Province Legal Education Lecturers' Team. His work has taken him to all five levels of administrative divisions (province, city, county, township, and village) and all fourteen cities and prefectures in the province.
