Training Session for Full-time and Part-time Cadres of HUTB Labour Union Held in Shaoshan

To study, promote, and implement the spirit of the 18th National Congress of the All-China Federation of Trade Unions and further enhance the job performance capabilities of both full-time and part-time union cadres of the Labour Union, a training session was held from January 12 to 13 at the Shaoshan campus of the provincial workers' training base for both full-time and part-time union cadres. Xiao Xiaoqin, former Deputy Secretary of CPC HUTB Committee and Chairman of the HUTB Labour Union led more than 70 members of the training session to participate in the training.
Chairman Xiao Xiaoqin delivered a special coaching report on studying, promoting, and implementing the spirit of the 18th National Congress of the All-China Federation of Trade Unions to all the students at the opening ceremony. He conveyed in his report the important speech spirit delivered by General Secretary Xi Jinping during his collective talk with the new leadership team of the All-China Federation of Trade Unions, the main points of the speech delivered by Secretary Cai Qi at the 18th National Congress of the All-China Federation of Trade Unions on behalf of the CPC Central Committee, and the main content of the conference report presented by Chairman Wang Dongming at the 18th National Congress of the All-China Federation of Trade Unions, as well as the main contents of the Constitution of the All-China Federation of Trade Unions (Amendment). He specified the content of the next steps of work and put forward specific requirements for wholeheartedly achieving effective results in the Labour Union’s work.
Li Ge, Executive Vice Chairman of the Labour Union, and Yang Lian, Vice Chairman of the Labour Union, provided interpretations of important union systems, and patiently and meticulously answered specific situational questions raised by the students. The training session invited Wang Xiguang, the person in charge of Wuhan Dida Sansi Technology Co., Ltd., to introduce the "Smart Labour Union" system to all students, enabling "digital intelligence" to alleviate the burden of grassroots work and effectively improve work efficiency.
After the special training, the students went to the Mao Zedong Bronze Statue Square, presented flower baskets as a sign of respect, and reaffirmed their oath of joining the Communist Party of China. Subsequently, all the students visited the Shaoshan Mao Zedong Memorial Museum and the Shaoshan Irrigation District Exihibition Hall. They watched the performance of "Visiting Shaoshan with Utmost Reminiscence" and, while contemplating, felt the exemplary character of a great leader and experienced the spirit of "always considering the interests of the masses" embodied in Shaoshan's irrigation efforts.
The content of this training session was rich and diverse in form, representing an important practice for the systematic training and enhancement of the abilities of both full-time and part-time cadres in the HUTB Labour Union. It fully stimulated the vitality of the Labour Union and provided strong support for advancing the work of the Labour Union to a new level. (Reported by Yang Lei)
