HUTB Achieves Excellent Results in First Hunan Province College Students' Career Planning Competition

Build youthful dreams aiming for the world, and plan careers to guide future. On March 13, the final of the First Hunan Province College Students' Career Planning Competition concluded successfully at Hunan Normal University. A total of 134 universities and more than 640,000 students from across the province participated, jointly composing a brilliant chapter of youth and dreams. In this competition, our university's contestants stood out from the intense competition with outstanding performances, achieving excellent results. They won three first prizes, four second prizes, and five third prizes. Our university ranked first among undergraduate institutions in the province in terms of both the total number of winners and the level of awards. We were also awarded the "Excellent Organization Award", which is recognition and encouragement for our talent cultivation model and career planning education.
A total of more than 12,000 students from our university participated in this competition. After selection and fierce competition, 25 contestants successfully advanced to the provincial finals. In the provincial finals, Liu Yujing, a student from the School of Digital Media Engineering and Humanities, outshone others and won first place in the higher education group's employment track, fully demonstrating the outstanding abilities and profound qualities of our university's students in career planning.
Since the start of the competition, the CPC HUTB Committee has attached great importance to it and has established a competition working group consisting of the Enrollment and Employment Guidance Division and 19 secondary schools. The working group has made careful arrangements and deployments in all aspects of the competition, including organization and implementation, event promotion, material guidance, player selection, professional evaluation, and so on, escorting our university's players to perform at their best in the competition. During the preparation process, the university organized professional teachers and enterprise experts to guide the players and polish their works through multiple rounds of refinement, selecting and recommending outstanding works to participate in the provincial competition. Their hard work and unremitting efforts have laid a solid foundation for our university to achieve excellent results in the competition.
The theme of this competition is "Building Youthful Dreams Aiming for the World, Planning Careers to Guide Future". It aims to further strengthen career education and employment guidance in universities and enhance the professional competence of college students. The strength and charm of our university's players have won high praise from the judging experts, reflecting the excellent comprehensive quality of our students and the good reputation of our university. Taking this competition as an opportunity, the university will continue to strengthen career planning education and employment guidance, making efforts to explore new ideas and initiatives in career education and employment guidance, in order to guide graduates towards higher quality and being fully employed.
