HUTB Signs Memorandum of Understanding with Nigeria Techno Metering Research & Evaluation Limited

On the afternoon of January 21, the signing ceremony of the Memorandum of Understanding between HUTB and Nigeria Trade, Research and Evaluation Technical Measures Limited was held in Conference Room 406 in No.2 Office Building. Zhang Ling, Vice President of HUTB, and Mohammed Aliyu, Chairman of Kano Economic City, Nigeria, attended the ceremony. Relevant department heads of both sides and some international students from Nigeria also participated. The meeting was presided over by Wang Ren, Director of the International Exchange and Cooperation Office.
Zhang Ling introduced the university's educational characteristics and development achievements, as well as the important role of the China-Africa Economic and Trade Cooperation Industrial Culture Communication and Popularization Base, which is led by HUTB, in promoting China-Africa economic and trade cooperation and people-to-people exchanges. She pointed out that this cooperation focuses on technical evaluation and talent cultivation in textile and tea trade, which is highly consistent with the development purpose of the base. It is another practical measure for the university to serve the China-Africa cooperation strategy and will provide a valuable international cooperation platform for teachers, students and enterprises of both sides.
Mohammed Aliyu introduced the development vision of Kano Economic City in Nigeria and its pivotal position in regional trade. He expressed his strong willingness to deepen cooperation with HUTB in joint research, talent cultivation, mutual recognition of technical standards and other fields. He believed that the signing of the memorandum will inject new impetus into promoting unimpeded trade and mutual benefit in specific industrial sectors between the two countries.
At the ceremony, the two sides officially signed the Memorandum of Understanding.
