Academician Chen Xiaohong Selected 2023 Chinese Management Annual Value Figure

On October 28, the 10th Dong Shahu China Management Forum 100, hosted by the China Management Science Society, successfully concluded in Suzhou. More than 300 academicians, experts, outstanding scholars, and business leaders from the field of management attended the conference, generating enthusiastic responses. This forum announced the results of the selection for "China's Annual Management Value Figure", "China's Annual Management Value Organization", and "China's Annual Management Value Case". Professor Chen Xiaohong, academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering, Director of Xiangjiang Laboratory, and Secretary of CPC HUTB Committee, was selected as "China's Annual Management Value Figure".
Academician Chen Xiaohong has led the Xiangjiang Laboratory to vigorously promote the integrated development of "computing power, algorithm, computing basis, and computing network". They have strengthened the technical breakthroughs in addressing the challenging issues in related fields. Their efforts have resulted in groundbreaking and disruptive original achievements, contributing significantly to the construction of a national computing power support system with strategic scientific and technological forces.

Technological innovation has become the main battlefield for competition among nations, with unprecedented intensity revolving around the race for technological dominance. It is reported that the China Management Development Report 2017 has initially released the Chinese management value evaluation system. It comprehensively assesses and evaluates the value of management from the perspectives of managerial functions, managerial synergy, and managerial benefits. It selects individuals, organizations, and cases that have made positive and significant management effects on economic and social development for publication. In the preliminary review stage of the sample, the research team fully considered the influence of data timeliness, innovation and economic and social benefits. The China Management Development Report (2023) continues to use this evaluation system and strictly follows a scientific evaluation path. It conducts research and releases information on individuals, organizations, and cases that have produced corresponding effects in the management field from 2022 to June 2023. On the basis of further improving the sample selection criteria, it selects and publishes annually valuable individuals, organizations, and cases in the management field according to the management value evaluation system.
