[XINHUANET] Industry Experts Discuss the Empowerment of New Industrialization by Artificial Intelligence

XINHUANET, Changsha, September 25 (Reported by Zhang Gaoyang and Yang Lei) On September 24, the "Artificial Intelligence Empowering New Industrialization" seminar of the 2024 World Computing Conference, co-hosted by the Xiangjiang Laboratory and HUTB, took place. The seminar aims to focus on the empowering role of artificial intelligence in the development of new industrialization, striving to promote the transformation of the manufacturing industry toward high-end, intelligent, and green development. It also seeks to strengthen the intelligent upgrade applications in key industries and advance the construction of a smart society.

During the keynote speech session, several experts delivered speeches on topics such as cloud-edge computing, the empowerment of artificial intelligence in biotechnology and pharmaceutical research and development, and large model hybrid cloud. They shared the current state of the industry and the latest research achievements.

At the meeting, several new research institutes were inaugurated, including the Basic Research Institute of New Generation Artificial Intelligence of Xiangjiang Laboratory, the Digital Media and Artificial Intelligence Innovation Institute, the Industrial Software Innovation Institute, the Low Altitude Economic Technology Innovation Institute, and the AI Cloud Print Innovation Institute.
