HUTB Alumni Donation and Xiangjiang Laboratory-Alumni Enterprise Cooperation Signing Ceremony Held at HUTB

On the afternoon of October 25, the HUTB Alumni Donation and Xiangjiang Laboratory-Alumni Enterprise Cooperation Signing Ceremony was held in the Zhiyuan Lecture Hall of Xiangjiang Building.
At the meeting, Chen Xiaohong, Secretary of CPC HUTB Committee, Director of Xiangjiang Laboratory, and an Academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering, delivered a speech. She expressed heartfelt gratitude on behalf of the CPC HUTB Committee for the alumni's generous contribution to their alma mater. She pointed out that over the past 75 years since the university's establishment, it has achieved remarkable educational accomplishments, especially in the last decade, during which it has made significant strides and experienced accelerated development, with various undertakings achieving overall advancement and breakthroughs. Academician Chen Xiaohong stated that the alma mater and its alumni share a common destiny, and the university's development and achievements cannot be separated from the care and support of its alumni. With the continued support of its alumni, the university will continue to forge ahead, striving to build itself into a distinctive, innovative, first-class university.
Gan Dejian, Vice President of HUTB, introduced the details regarding alumni donations and cooperation. In the presence of the attending leaders, Academician Chen Xiaohong, Secretary of CPC HUTB Committee, presented donation certificates to the alumni representatives. Meanwhile, Yi Mianyang, Deputy Secretary of CPC HUTB Committee, signed donation agreements with alumni Tan Xiancai, Wei Hongzhang, Huang Xingyao, Li Fubing, and Xie Lijun. Zhou Zhifang, Chairman of Xiangjiang Intelligent Computing (Hunan) High Tech Development Co., Ltd., a wholly-owned subsidiary of Xiangjiang Laboratory, and Xie Xianhua, Chairman of Shenzhen Suowei Information Technology Co., Ltd., on behalf of the alumni, signed a cooperation agreement between the two parties. Warm applause erupted on the scene.
Alumni representatives Tan Xiancai, Wei Hongzhang, and Huang Xingyao each gave speeches, expressing their gratitude for the diligent cultivation and education they received from their alma mater. They stated that the university’s development has entered a fast track, with rapid progress and flourishing growth. They hope to resonate and move forward in sync with the university's high-quality development, joining forces to create a win-win future.
