Two HUTB Teachers Have Their Works Selected for 14th National Exhibition of Fine Arts

Recently, two works from our Design & Art Institute were selected for the 14th National Exhibition of Fine Arts. Wang Guodong's ceramic art piece, “Raise the Wings of Spirit,” and Jiao Liqiang's watercolor work, “Under the Blue Sky,” were chosen. Wang Guodong's piece is the only work from Hunan Province in the craft arts and ceramic art category to be featured at the exhibition in Beijing.

The National Exhibition of Fine Arts, jointly organized by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism of the People's Republic of China, the China Federation of Literary and Art Circles, and the China Artists Association, is the largest, most widely participated, and most diverse national-level comprehensive fine art exhibition, known for its significant influence and authority. The exhibition is held every five years and represents the highest level of national fine art creation. It also serves as a comprehensive review and showcase of the development stage of the national fine art community every five years, earning the reputation of being the "Olympics" of the fine art community.
