HUTB Holds 2024 Construction Project Progress Meeting

On the morning of July 11, HUTB held the 2024 construction project progress meeting in the Zhiyuan Lecture Hall of Xiangjiang Building. Chen Xiaohong, Secretary of the CPC HUTB Committee, Director of Xiangjiang Laboratory, and Academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering (CAE), Zhang Ling, Vice President of HUTB, and Yang Liangqi, Member of CPC HUTB Committee and Vice President of HUTB, Yi Mianyang, Deputy Secretary of the CPC HUTB Committee, and Hou Junjun, Member of CPC HUTB Committee and Vice President of HUTB, attended the meeting. Leaders of relevant departments and secondary schools also attended the event.
At the meeting, the departments leading the construction tasks reported on the project's progress and committed to fully advancing the construction work. They vowed to work with a sense of urgency to ensure that all projects are completed on schedule, aiming to achieve the goal of a “summer upgrade and a more beautiful campus for the start of the new academic year.”
The Chief Leaders in charge of different business areas made individual statements and outlined plans for further advancing the construction projects with high quality and efficiency.
Chen Xiaohong, Secretary of the CPC HUTB Committee, Director of Xiangjiang Laboratory, and Academician of CAE, delivered the concluding remarks. She indicated that after ten years of construction and development, the university has established a refined, aesthetically pleasing campus environment with complete facilities and well-rounded functions, earning widespread praise from all sectors of society. Secretary Chen Xiaohong outlined three work requirements: first, strengthen coordination to create a unified effort, ensuring that each construction project is meticulously executed; second, enhance safety management by implementing safety measures, adhering to standards, strengthening process supervision, and taking precautions against high temperatures; third, focus on key tasks and actively promote summer projects to achieve better results.
