2025-10-25

Golden autumn job fair bridges talents and opportunities, guiding graduates to new professional horizons. On October 24, the "Employment in the Golden Autumn" large-scale job fair for the 2026 graduates, guided by the Department of Education of Hunan Province and the Department of Human Resources and Social Security of Hunan Province, and hosted by HUTB, is held at the Feiyue Track and Field on the South Campus. The event establishes an efficient "two-way selection" platform for graduates and employers.

The CPC HUTB Committee attaches great importance to the event and coordinates deployments. Through multi-channel invitations to high-quality enterprises in the preparatory phase, the job fair attracts nearly 400 reputable employers from 15 provinces and cities across China. Participants include state-owned enterprises, Fortune Global 500 and China 500 companies such as Sinohydro Bureau 8 Co., Ltd., Hunan Port Shipping & Water Resources Group Co., Ltd., Lens Technology, Gezhouba Group, Sinocare, and Jingjia Micro. Covering over 20 fields including artificial intelligence, big data, information technology, fintech, law, and arts, the fair offers more than 12,000 job positions. This fully demonstrates the university's long-term commitment to deepening industry-academia cooperation and its remarkable effectiveness and strong appeal in expanding high-quality employment resources.

The job fair buzzes with a vibrant and energetic atmosphere, showcasing robust engagement from both job seekers and employers, and surges with the fervor of youth pursuing their dreams. Over 3,000 students, including the Class of 2026 undergraduates as well as third-year undergraduates and second-year postgraduates, actively engage with recruiters, presenting well-prepared resumes. They diligently inquire about job requirements and seek suitable positions aligned with their academic backgrounds and career aspirations. Employers proactively showcase corporate culture, role expectations, and career development paths. Recruitment staff patiently address graduates' questions regarding job responsibilities, compensation, benefits, and advancement opportunities, warmly welcoming HUTB students to apply.

To enhance job-seeking efficiency and success rates, the event innovatively integrates an employment carnival, featuring five specialized zones: Career Navigation, AI Assistance, Planning Empowerment, Fun Challenges, and Brand Market. This provides students with comprehensive, whole-process employment guidance, from career planning to job matching.

The Career Navigation zone invites professional career planners and corporate HR specialists to offer one-on-one consultations on resume optimization and interview skills. The Planning Empowerment zone distributes the "Employment Guide Handbook" to graduates, introducing grassroots employment programs, postgraduate policies, and civil service exam strategies to provide diverse development advice. The Brand Market zone features engaging career planning activities like "Career Guess," "True Self Mirror Room," and "Resume Polish," along with corporate showcases and campus cultural creations. This "job-seeking + entertainment" model enables graduates to gain a more vivid and comprehensive understanding of enterprises and professions, providing valuable references for their subsequent career decisions. Additionally, the university's specially set up "AI Assessment" service utilizes artificial intelligence technology to help graduates enhance their interview skills and strengthen their employment competitiveness. For example, the "AI Resume Lab" provides graduates with personalized resume templates, helping their resumes stand out effortlessly. Meanwhile, "AI Interview Optimization" simulates real interview scenarios: graduates simply input their target position information to activate an interactive Q&A system that highly replicates actual corporate interview environments.

As of now, the university has organized 8 large and medium-sized job fairs for the 2026 graduating cohort, attracting over 700 enterprises and offering a total of more than 42,000 positions. Additionally, 69 specialized recruitment presentations have been held, providing over 5,000 jobs. The university has also connected with 248 online recruitment companies, offering more than 16,000 positions, thereby providing strong support for the high-quality and full employment of the 2026 graduates.

The university will continue to align with national policy directions, deepen the construction of the "university-enterprise cooperation community," and connect the needs of high-quality enterprises and grassroots positions. Simultaneously, by leveraging initiatives such as "micro-major" development and entrepreneurship incubation services, it will implement and enhance the "Double Thousand" Plan, providing graduates with comprehensive support spanning from job preparation to position matching. With the dual guarantees of policy support and targeted services, more students will find their development coordinates in diverse fields such as the digital economy and green economy, realizing their youthful aspirations for high-quality employment.
