Department of Commerce of Hunan Province Visits Xiangjiang Laboratory for Research Exchange

On the afternoon of November 21, a delegation led by Shi Fenggang, Member of the CPC Leading Group and Deputy Director of the Department of Commerce of Hunan Province, and Yao Zhen, Member of the CPC Leading Group and Head of the Discipline Inspection and Supervision Team stationed at the Department, visited Xiangjiang Laboratory for an open Party Day activity and research exchange. Liu Guoquan, Executive Deputy Director of Xiangjiang Laboratory, accompanied the delegation during the inspection. The event was attended by relevant department heads from the Department of Commerce of Hunan Province, Hunan Xiangjiang New Area, Hunan Cross-Border E-Commerce Association, as well as department leaders from Xiangjiang Laboratory and HUTB.

The research delegation also conducted on-site inspections of the laboratory's innovative platforms and applied outcomes, including intelligent logistics, embodied intelligence (humanoid) robots, industrial intelligent control, intelligent manufacturing, artificial intelligence, smart cities, smart societies, smart healthcare, brain-like intelligence, and the metaverse with smart retail. They highly commended the outstanding construction results and innovative achievements made by Xiangjiang Laboratory since its establishment over three years ago.
