The event was witnessed by numerous recipients of national talent programs, corporate executives, and association representatives, marking the grand opening of this significant gathering.

In his address, Professor Cai Zixing reviewed the forty-year development journey of China's artificial intelligence discipline and shared his latest achievements in constructing the AI discipline system and textbook development. He particularly emphasized that Hunan is both a "blessed land" and a "pioneer" in China's AI development, calling for inheriting the daring spirit of pioneering in the new era to make greater contributions to building a powerful intelligent nation. In conclusion, he extended sincere wishes for the complete success of the conference and expressed hopes that participants would achieve new breakthroughs in the field of artificial intelligence.

Vice President Liu Jingang stated that Xiangtan University adheres to its original aspiration of cultivating talent for the Party and the country, building a distinctive artificial intelligence discipline system based on first-class disciplines. Comrade Yu Zehong pointed out that artificial intelligence is a key force reshaping the global landscape, and Hunan is fully committed to creating the "AI + Hunan" initiative as a standout brand. He expressed hope that this conference would pool wisdom, promote integration, and jointly advance the high-quality development of Hunan's AI industry.
The conference presented the Hunan Association for Artificial Intelligence's Education and Teaching Achievement Awards, Science and Technology Awards, Outstanding Thesis Awards, as well as the "Challenge-based Competition" awards of the 6th Hunan Provincial Graduate AI Innovation Competition. These awards recognized teams and individuals who have made outstanding contributions in the fields of AI technology innovation, education and teaching, and talent cultivation.
The conference featured a series of outstanding theme reports. Professor Tan Jianrong, Academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering and professor at Zhejiang University; Professor Hu Qinghua, winner of the National Science Fund for Distinguished Young Scholars and Chairman of the Tianjin Association for Artificial Intelligence, professor at Tianjin University; Professor Xu Kai, winner of the National Science Fund for Distinguished Young Scholars and Director of the Youth Working Committee of the Hunan Association for Artificial Intelligence; and Mr. Liu Junhua from iFLYTEK Co., Ltd. delivered speeches on cutting-edge topics such as intelligent robotics, low-altitude visual perception, embodied world models, and general artificial intelligence. From multiple dimensions including key technologies, typical applications, and future trends, they presented a high-level, multi-faceted academic feast.
That afternoon, five parallel sub-forums were held simultaneously, focusing on the themes of "Intelligent Education," "AI Industry," "Medical Artificial Intelligence," "Intelligent Systems and Optimization," and "AI Frontiers." Each forum facilitated in-depth discussions and exchanges on hot topics within their respective fields.

During the conference, the Hunan Association for Artificial Intelligence signed a cooperation framework agreement with Shenzhen SYD Network Technology Co., Ltd. Both parties will continue to deepen their collaboration in the "Challenge-based Competition" segment of the Hunan Provincial Graduate AI Innovation Competition, promoting the integration of corporate technical challenges into university competitions. This initiative aims to pool the wisdom of young talents to tackle critical "bottleneck" problems and establish a new industry-university-research collaboration mechanism characterized by "promoting research and transformation through competition."

The conference held the global launch ceremony of the "Embodied Intelligent System AI Teaching Platform." Jointly developed by Hunan Shaofeng Institute of Applied Mathematics and Changsha Robox Institute, the platform adopts a "cloud-edge-end collaboration" architecture, integrating multimodal large models and high-fidelity simulation technology to build a complete teaching process from intelligent decision-making to physical execution. It will fundamentally revolutionize traditional AI education models, enabling students to "understand while learning, master through practice, and apply with competence." Nine guests from academia, research, and industry, including Cai Zixing, former Vice Chairman of the Hunan Provincial Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference, jointly initiated the platform, witnessing a significant achievement in the deep integration of "industry, university, research, and application."
The talent recruitment activity held alongside the conference attracted enthusiastic participation from employers and students. The event not only provided a high-end platform for exchange and cooperation in the field of artificial intelligence but also demonstrated Hunan's determination to build the Chang-Zhu-Tan region into a pivotal AI innovation hub in central China. It contributed intellectual strength to fostering new quality productive forces and promoting high-quality development.
