Brief introduction of lecturer:

Wang Mu, born in Qian’an of Jilin Province in 1941, enjoyed “special allowance of State Council” in 1993 and hired as doctoral supervisor in 1994. As the dean of School of Law in Jilin University and College of Criminal Justice in China University of Political Science and Law in the past, he is a professor in China University of Political Science and Law, a chairman of Criminology Institute in China Law Society and part-time professor in many key universities.

Research fields:

1. Reasons of increased criminal offence inChina

2. Chinese criminology countermeasures study.

3. Basic theory research of criminology.

Reward records:

1. Won “International Distinguished Scholar Award” from International Criminology Branch of American Society of Criminology in 2002.

2. Won Second Prize of Legal Teaching Materials from Chinese Ministry of Justice in 2006.
