There is no doubt thin the age of Big Data has risen, and turbulent changes have taken place: the Market competition will not only be the competition between enterprises, but will be that between the internets, between the Supply Chains. Ultimately, it is the competitions between data and services. Innovation of supply chain management service is no longer just a topic but an unavoidable trend in the data waves across the globe. With the continual advancing of the economic globalization and economic low-carbonization, especially after China has been the second economic entity, the domestic traditional economy has stepped into the important transitional unprecedented period of development. Under the new background of the new era, how to explore and realize the innovation of supply chain management service and reshape its value in the age of Big Data is not only the first opportunity and challenge of the business communities, but also“the important obligatory task of indomitable spirit”of academic circles, which respond to the call of the times. Therefore，with the strong support of the Management Department of the national Natural Science Foundation and the International Cooperation and Communication Department of the Ministry of Education, Central South University, and Hunan University of Commerce will launch the summit forum of “Innovation of Supply Chain Management Service in the Age of Big Data” with such domestic universities as South China University of Technology, University of Science and Technology of China, Beijing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics and some representative enterprises. Authorities, experts, well-known scholars and the industry elites at home and abroad will be invited to attend and share their insights and experience in the forum, whose purpose is to gather those advanced perspectives, to push forward the research on the crossing of theory and practice and their integration, to discuss the new problems, the new trains of thoughts., the new theories and new methods of the innovation of supply chain management service in the age of Big Data, to another round of perfecting and development of the model of supply chain management service, and finally to open up a feasible road for the transformation, upgrading, originality and development of our national economy.

This summit forum will be held in Changsha, China on 15th and 16th, August, 2015. It will be of great significance for the innovation of supply chain management service in the age of Big Data, research on the crossing of related fields, and the integration of the business communities and academic circles.
