Speaker’s Profile:

 

Chen Bin (1972-), male, currently a professor and doctoral supervisor of the School of Environment of Beijing Normal University, as the director of the Ecological Environment Governance Center, deputy director of the Academic Committee of school, the recipient of the National Science Fund for Distinguished Young Scholars, and one of the first outstanding young scholars in Beijing; the member of the National Standardization Technical Committee of Environmental Protection Industry (SAC/TC275), the director of the Eco-Environmental System Engineering Committee of Systems Engineering Society of China, and the director of the Urban and Regional Management Committee ofChinese Academy of Management; he has long been engaged in the teaching and scientific research of ecological environment management, and has presided over a series of scientific research projects, including the national key R&D projects, sub-projects of the 863 plan major project, national science and technology support projects, new century outstanding talent support programs, US Energy Foundation projects, etc. He has published more than 100 papers in the top journals in Zone 1, including the sub-journals of Science and Nature and obtained 10 patent authorizations and 10 software copyrights. He also served as the editor-in-chief, deputy editor-in-chief and editorial board member of more than 10 English journals. He has won the second prize of National Science and Technology Progress Award, the second prize of Natural Science Award of the Ministry of Education, the second prize of Science and Technology Progress Award of the Ministry of Ecology and Environment, and the China Industry-University-Research Cooperation Innovation Award (individual).
