Introduction of the Speaker:

Zeng Li, professor of School of Leading Edge Interdisciplinary Subjects, National University of Defense Technology, director assistant of National Defense Science and Technology Strategy Research Think Tank, deputy director-general of the Military Economic Research Center of People’s Republic of China, and executive deputy director of key Think Tank in Hunan: “Research Center  for National Defense Science and Civil-Military Integration Development”, chief expert of the Hunan research base “Defense Construction and Regional Economic and Social Development”, expert in guiding public opinion in army network, has completed the important project of the National Social Science Fund: “Resource Allocation and Management of National Defense and Military-Civil Integration with Chinese Characteristics”  and other scientific research projects, and published more than 80 academic papers. His main research achievements include: the Outstanding Achievement Award by the General Staff, the first, second and third prizes of the Political Theory Research within the whole Army, the third and second prize of Military Scientific and Technological Progress, and the “Outstanding Achievement Award in HuXiang Think Tank”. He had gained Yucai Scholarships of the military college and university, enjoyed the special government allowance of the State Council and allowance for first class post of military professional skills, and was rated as the “Person of the Year in China National Defense Economics” (national defense economist) and “Leading Talent of the First Batch of Think Tanks in Hunan Province”. He has participated in the consultation work of central military-civilian integration opinions and planning study, with relevant proposals for undertaken projects been approved by the leading comrades in the Central Committee or submitted as proposals and recommendations in National Committee of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference. His research in basic theories, major issues and countermeasures study for development of military-civilian integration also has a great impact on other domestic research fields.
