Introduction of the Speaker: Professor Song is the assistant dean of School of Science, Chinese University of Hong Kong. She is a professor of Department of Statistics. Professor Song’s major research directions include latent variable models, Bayesian method, statistical calculation and survival analysis, etc. At the same time, she holds posts as editorial board member or vice chairman of committee of several international journals such as Psychometrika, Biometrics, Computational Statistics & Data Analysis and Structural Equation Modeling: A Multidisciplinary Journal, etc. Professor Song has already published more than 100 papers in international journals. Her recent papers are mainly published in journals like Journal of the American Statistical Association, Biometrika, Biometrics, Bioinformatics, Psychometrika and Quantitative Finance, etc.
