Introduction of the Speaker: Academician Gui Weihua is a famous automation expert of Nonferrous Metals Industry and is an academic leader of innovative research group of Natural Science Foundation of China. He once worked as the dean of Information Science and Engineering School , Central South University. Now he holdsconcurrent posts as executive director of Chinese Association of Automation, vice president of The Nonferrous Metals Society of China, chairman of Academic Committee of Computer, vice president of Professional Committee of Fault Diagnosis of Technical Process of Chinese Association of Automation, honorary chairman of Hunan Provincial Association of Automation and member of both The 5th and The 7th Science and Technology Committee, Ministry of Education. In addition, Academician Gui works as the editorial board member of both Automation Journal and Control Engineering.
