Introduction of the speaker: Professor Cheng Yingmei, PhD in economics of the University of Pennsylvania, now is the professor of finance in Florida State University. She was rated as Patti Smith Hill Distinguished Scholar of Finance of Florida State University in 2015, and served as the research consultant of World Bank. Her main research program is stock repurchase, executive compensation, cash assets, R&D investment, international investment, capital structure, mergers and acquisitions, etc. She has published many papers in Journal of Financial Economics, Journal of Corporate Finance and other international top financial and economic journals, attended international and national academic conferences for more than 30 times, and was invited to make academic lectures by and visit to the University of South Carolina, Tsinghua University, Xiamen University, City University of Hong Kong, etc.
