Introduction of the speaker: He is the academician of Chinese Academy of Engineering and the professor of Tongji University. He is also the expert in mechanical manufacturing processes and equipment, facilities planning and design, and industrial development strategy. He is from Fuping County, Shaanxi. He graduated from Harbin Institute of Technology in 1957. He was the director of the Department of Management Sciences of National Natural Science Foundation of China and the deputy director of the Department of Engineering Management of Chinese Academy of Engineering. He has engaged in the design and consultation of engineering project and the research on industrial development strategy for a long time. He served as the general designer of the Shanghai machine tool, project and Shenyang industrial reform project of the World Bank, and realized the overall reform, reorganization and transformation of the enterprise through the reform of the enterprise system, reorganization of production rationalization and transformation of production modernization. He won the honor of China Engineering Design Master in 1989.
