Introduction of the speaker: Zhou Nan is the professor of the School of Marketing of City University of Hong Kong, the Cheung Kong Scholars chair professor of Wuhan University, and the first Cheung Kong Scholars chair professor appointed by the Ministry of Education for enterprise management discipline. Professor Zhou Nan was admitted to the graduate studying abroad of the Ministry of Education in 1981, obtained the MBA degree of Idaho State University in 1984, and obtained Ph.D. (marketing) degree of the University of Utah in 1987. He presided over more than 30 academic research projects in Canada and Hong Kong, including National Natural Science Foundation Committee of China - Research Grant Committee (NSFC-RGC) joint funding plan management science group 2003-2004 sole project receiving fund. According to the statistics of Journal of Global Marketing in 2000, the total number of articles published by Professor Zhou Nan ranked the third place among the papers of other authors about Chinese marketing published in the main international academic journals in English from 1978 to 1998; According to the statistics of SSCI, the times of his papers being cited from 1996 to 1998 ranked the fourth place; According to the statistics of Journal of Advertising in 2008, the total number of papers published by Professor Zhou Nan ranked the top twenty among the papers of other authors published in top 3 advertising academic journals of the United States from 1997 to 2006. Zhou Nan is the visiting professor of many universities, the member of the Editorial Committee of Journal of Marketing Science, and the member of humanity, social sciences and business discipline group of the Research Grant Committee from 2006 to 2008. At present, Professor Zhou Nan mainly focuses on the research of Tao Te Ching and other traditional cultures in the marketing localization.
