Introduction of the speaker:

Professor Jia Jianmin now is the professor and director of the Department of Marketing of CUHK Business School, “Cheung Kong Scholars chair professor” of the Ministry of Education, and the honorary president of School of Economics and Management, Southwest Jiaotong University. Professor Jia obtained the doctor’s degree of the Business School of University of Texas - Austin, his research interests covered the big data marketing, social network, consumer choice, customer relationship management, behavioral decision and other aspects, and his papers were published in Management Science, Marketing Science, Journal of Consumer Research, Operations Research and other international top academic journals in the field of management. Besides, he is also the member of the Expert Advisory Committee of Management Sciences Dept of National Natural Science Foundation of China, the member of national MBA Education Supervisory Committee, and the member of the Sichuan Standing Committee of NPC, etc. He ever served as the associate editor of the magazine Operations Research of the United States, the academic director of the Marketing Science Institute (MSI) and the president of School of Economics and Management, Southwest Jiaotong University, etc. He also won the “Best Paper Award in American INFORMS Decision Analysis Society Graduate Student Paper Contest”, “American INFORMS Franz Edelman Finalist Award”, and served as the conference chairman or session chairman at many important international conferences.
