Introduction of the speaker:

Tan Guilin: male, from Leiyang, Hunan, was born in 1959; He is the doctoral supervisor of the College of Liberal Art of Nanjing Normal University; the distinguished professor of Cheung Kong Scholars of Ministry of Education; the state-level candidate of New Century Talents Project; the expert enjoying special government allowance of the State Council; the vice-chairman of Association of China Lu Xun Study; the editorial board member of Literary Review of Chinese Academy of Social Sciences; and the member of Modern Chinese Literary Association. He has presided over 1 major project and 2 general projects of national social science fund, and 2 key projects of provincial social science fund successively; He also presided over 1 international cooperation academic project; He has published 17 academic works including the 20th Chinese Literature and Buddhism, Century-old Literature and Religion, Contemporary Chinese Literature and Religious Culture, etc., and has released more than 60 academic papers in the authoritative journals such as Social Sciences In China, Literary Review, Modern Chinese Literature Studies, Lu Xun Research Monthly, Guangming Daily, etc.; Therein, the series of papers released in Social Sciences In China, Literary Review and other journals about the modern Buddhist literature create a new field in the modern Chinese literature research and fill the gaps in the academic research.
