Introduction of the speaker: Tan Yuejin graduated from National University of Defense Technology, majoring in systems engineering in 1985, and obtained the master’s degree, and served as the professor of the College of Information System and Management, National University of Defense Technology and the doctoral supervisor of management science and engineering and military equipment science in 1994. He enjoyed the special government allowance, and won the Gold Award for Talent Cultivation of Military Academies, A-class post allowance of outstanding military professional and technical talents. He was also the responsible person of the state first-level discipline construction of the management science and engineering and national level teaching group of the “systems engineering and management” series courses. He currently serves as the executive deputy director of Division of Social Studies of National University of Defense Technology. His concurrent academic posts include: the vice chairman of Society of Management Science and Engineering of China, the executive member of Systems Engineering Society of China and Chinese Research Council of Modern Management, the vice group leader of a Professional Group of General Armament Department, the vice group leader of the Expert Group of Military Equipment Scientific Management, the vice-chairman of International Council of Systems Engineering (INCOSE) South China Branch, the honorary president of the Society of Systems Engineering and Management of Hunan, and the vice chairman of Hunan Society of Electronics and Hunan Society of Astronautics. His main academic achievements include: 2 first prizes and 7 second prizes of Military Science and Technology Progress Award, 1 second prize of State-level Teaching Achievement Award, and 5 second prizes of Provincial-level Teaching Achievement Award. He published more than 100 academic papers, including 34 of SCI searching and 58 of EI searching, and published 12 works and textbooks.
