Introduction of the speaker: Zhang Zhihui, the doctor of laws and doctoral supervisor, enjoys the special government allowance of the State Council and is the first group of “Master of Law in Contemporary China”. He currently is the member of the Advisory Committee of Supreme People’s Procuratorate, the professor and doctoral supervisor of Hunan University, the part-time professor and mentor of the postdoctoral research station of Renmin University of China, and concurrently serves as the vice chairman of China against Corruption Law Association and the executive member of the Chinese Criminal Law Society. He ever served as the director of Judicial System Reform Leading Group Office of Supreme People’s Procuratorate, the director of the Institute of Procuratorial Theory of Supreme People’s Procuratorate, the secretary of the Association of Chinese Procurator, and the secretary of China Law Society Prosecutorial Council.  He had 11 personal academic works published at home and abroad including General Theory of International Criminal Law, General Theory of Criminal Responsibility, Rationalism of Criminal Law, Study on Procuratorial Power, etc., more than 40 works under his general editorship including China Procuratorial (volume 1-20), Study on Judicial System Reform, etc. He published more than 200 papers in Chinese Journal of Law, China Legal Science, People’s Daily and other journals, and won various awards in scientific research achievement for more than 20 times. The key projects of National Philosophy and Social Science Fund were presided over and completed by him include: Theory and System Research on Power Restriction and Anti-corruption, Research on Optimal Configuration of Procuratorial Power. The general project supported by National Philosophy and Social Science Fund is Research on Exclusionary Rule of Illegally Obtained Evidence, and key project sponsored by the Ministry of Justice is Research on Problems of Judicial System Reform; The key topic of China Law Society is Implementation of Criminal Policy of Combining Punishment with Leniency and Performance of Legal Supervision Responsibilities; International cooperation project: Research on Plea Bargaining - Research on Quick-disposal Mechanism of Guilt-admission Case, Guarantee of Human Rights in Criminal Proceedings - Reform of Criminal Compulsory Measures and Illegal Evidence Exclusion, etc. Now, he is presiding over the key project of National Philosophy and Social Science Fund - Research on Optimizing Judicial Power Configuration and international cooperation project - Ability Training of the Procurator Executing New Criminal Procedure Law.
