Introduction of the speaker: Zhang Jingyu, the doctor of politics of Columbia University (New York), former president of National Chengchi University and the director of Institute of International Relations of National Chengchi University (Taiwan), once served as the teacher of Hofstra University in New York and Western Illinois University, and engaged in the study on international relations at Johns Hopkins University in Washington and University of California - Berkeley. He was the director general of Government Information Office of Taiwan authorities, the councillor of Executive Yuan, chairman of Mainland Affairs Council, the central committee member of Taiwan Kuo Min Tang, and the national policy advisor of Taiwan Presidential Office. Now, he is the president of Taiwan- Mainland Huxiang Culture Development Association and the president of Taiwan- Mainland Economic Investment Culture and Education Association, and has been committed to promoting the peaceful development of cross-strait relations in recent years.
