Speaker’s Profile:

Dr. Zhao Yanqiu, Professor and Doctoral Supervisor of the Literal Art College of Hunan Normal University, Editor-in-Chief of Chinese Literature Research, also the Vice President of China Society of Chinese and Foreign Literary Theory, Vice President of Narratology Branch of China Society of Chinese and Foreign Literary Theory and the President of Hunan Society of Literary Theory; the expert enjoying special allowance from the State Council and outstanding social science expert in Hunan Province; mainly engaged in the research of literary theory, comparative literature and British and American literature; he has presided over one major project of the National Social Science Fund of China, four general projects and youth projects, and published 14 monographs, 6 translations and more than 200 papers. The achievements were selected into the National Social Science Library, and won the second prize of Humanities and Social Sciences Award of the Ministry of Education, the first prize and the second prize of Hunan Social Science Award, etc.
