Speaker’s Profile:
Yang Yu, undergraduate student majoring in French in 1992, graduate student majoring in Philosophy in 1996, Ph.D. in Classical Literature in 1998, Ph.D. in Literature in 2001 of East China Normal University; currently a professor and doctoral supervisor at the School of Literature &Journalism of Central South University; listed in the New Century Excellent Talent Support Program of the Ministry of Education, the first batch of "New Century 121 Talent Project"in Hunan Province; a member of the Hunan Provincial Committee of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference, and an executive director of the ChineseCiPoetryResearchAssociation,mainly focusing on the research and criticism of Tang and Song Ci; published more than 20 works and more than 40 papers; served as the keynote speaker of CCTV's "Lecture Room", the guest commentator of cultural programs such as "Chinese Poetry Conference", "Chinese Bridge-Chinese Proficiency Competition for Foreigners Across the Globe","Chinese Idiom Conference" and "Happy Chinese".
