Introduction to the Speaker:
Tan Yuejin, male, currently professor of College of Systems Engineering, National University of Defense Technology, doctoral supervisor in Management Science and Engineering, leader of the national-level teaching team for "Systems Engineering and Management" courses. He has been awarded the special government allowance and Class-1 post allowance for outstanding military professional and technical personnel, won the Gold Award for Fostering Talents in Military Academies and the National Excellent Teacher Award. He was promoted to Special Technical Major General in 2008, and to Level-2 Military Technical Major General in 2015.
Main academic posts: vice chairman of Society of Management Science and Engineering of China, former vice chairman of Systems Engineering Society of China, executive director of Chinese Academy of Management, vice chairman of Teaching Steering Committee of Management Science and Engineering Specialty in Higher Education Institutions of the Ministry of Education, specialist of CMC Equipment Development Department, and member of Military Logistics Expert Group, etc.
He has been long engaged in the teaching and scientific research in systems engineering, network big data, equipment system engineering, equipment engineering management, satellite-based mission planning, etc.; presided over 1 major and 1 key NSFC project respectively, more than 10 national defense pre-research projects and 6 model research projects; won 2 first prizes and 10 second prizes for scientific and technological progress at military or provincial level, 1 second prize of National Teaching Achievement Award, 1 first prize of Military Teaching Achievement Award and 1 grand prize of Hunan Provincial Teaching Achievement Award; published more than 150 academic papers, of which more than 70 were indexed by SCI; published 13 monographs and textbooks, among which 2 monographs won the National Book Award, 2 textbooks were selected as the NationalPlanned Textbook in the 11th Five-Year Plan/12th Five-Year Plan of General Higher Education, and 1 textbook won the second prize of the first National Excellent Textbook Award.
