Senior Calligraphy and Painting Association Holds “Welcoming Spring, Sending Couplets” Event

   On the morning of January 5, under the warm winter sun, Siyuan Building was adorned with a golden glow. With strong support from the Retirement Division and the Labour Union, the Senior Calligraphy and Painting Association of the Retirement Division organized a “Welcoming Spring, Sending Couplets” event at the building.

Teachers Tang Debin, Zhu Donghua, Lei Houjian, and members of the Senior Calligraphy and Painting Association of the university wielded their brushes to offer New Year's blessings and auspicious greetings to retired colleagues and current staff who came in droves. They also expressed their sincere wishes for the high-quality development of the university and the peace and prosperity of the nation.

It is reported that nearly 200 couplets were given out during the event. The main leaders of the Retirement Division and all members of the Senior Calligraphy and Painting Association actively participated in the activity. (Reported by Liu Shouchun)
