HUTB Held Unveiling Ceremony for Zhiweixuan "Youth Bar"

Delicious food carries profound meaning, while culture nourishes the soul. On the morning of December 12, the university held the unveiling ceremony for Zhiweixuan "Youth Bar". Chen Xiaohong, Secretary of CPC HUTB Committee and an academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering (CAE), Liu Guoquan, a member of CPC HUTB Committee and Vice President of HUTB, and Zhang Ling, Vice President of HUTB, Gan Dejian and Yi Mianyang, members of CPC HUTB Committee and Vice Presidents of HUTB, attended the ceremony. Leaders from relevant functional departments and representatives of faculty and students also attended the ceremony. Vice President Yi Mianyang presided over the unveiling ceremony.
During the ceremony, Chen Xiaohong, Secretary of CPC HUTB Committee and CAE academician, delivered a speech. She expressed warm congratulations on behalf of CPC HUTB Committee for the official operation of the restaurant and conveyed sincere condolences to all staff members who participated in the design, construction, and management. It has coordinated planning and vigorously advanced the improvement of campus environment, infrastructure, and cultural landscape. The campus has achieved gradual transformations, with small changes every year, significant changes every three years, substantial changes every five years, and transformative changes every ten years. This has provided a solid hardware guarantee for the university's leapfrog development.

As a student representative, Yin Yihao from the School of Intelligent Engineering and Manufacturing delivered a speech. He expressed that a cafeteria is not just a place to eat, but also a kind of scenery, a form of civilization, capturing a certain attitude and shining with a spirit. The operation of Zhiweixuan "Youth Bar" has provided students with more diversified dining options and added a beautiful scenery to the campus. The lives of teachers and students have become more convenient, and their sense of belonging and happiness have been further enhanced. In the presence of teacher and student representatives, chief leaders present unveiled the plaque for Zhiweixuan "Youth Bar", and warm applause broke out on the scene.
Subsequently, chief leaders and their entourage watched the performances jointly presented by teachers and students. They visited Zhiweixuan "Youth Bar" on-site and had in-depth discussions on further improving subsequent operational management, construction, and maintenance work. They also put forward relevant requirements and provided guidance.
It is reported that Zhiweixuan "Youth Bar" has a building area of approximately 1500 square meters and can accommodate more than 300 teachers and students for dining at the same time. With the aim of building a new-generation cafeteria, "Youth Bar" integrates catering, learning, and leisure functions. It has a wide variety of characteristic food stalls, well-designed stage functions, and has introduced unique food brands such as Zhou's Rice Noodles, Dai Yonghong Snacks, B&W Television, etc. "Youth Bar" will become another great place for teachers and students to study and live.
