HUTB Holds Students Career Planning Competition 2021

On the evening of June 1, the final of Students Career Planning Competition 2021 was held in the Yingcai Lecture Hall, Library of HUTB, attended by the Vice President Yang Liangqi, and watched by Hu Wei, Senior Head of Human Capital Organization Department of BBK Group, Feng Yan, Director of Human Resources of Dahan Group, Wang Xiaohe, Deputy Head of Human Resources Department of Yuanda Group, heads of Academic Affairs Division, School of Business Administration, Enrollment and Employment Guidance Division and schools, employment specialists and representatives of teachers and students.
Vice President Yang Liangqi pointed out in his speech that the students career planning competition is an important competition held by HUTB for many years, aiming at further enhancing the students career planning ability, clarifying the career goals and orientation, and enhancing the vocational skills and employment competitiveness. He expressed the hope that the competition could actively guide the students to establish the career planning awareness, make clear the career development direction, continuously improve the professional quality and ability, and finally realize their career dreams and life values.
At the beginning of the competition, the 12 contestants advancing to the finals after preliminary selection went up on the stage in turn, completed PPT live presentation within 7 min, and answered the questions raised by judges within 3 min. The statements of contestants shall closely focus on the self-awareness, professional awareness, stage goals, implementation plans and alternative plans, and present the specific ideas of personal career planning. The defense session was also full of confidence and orderly. The contestants answered the questions raised by the judges carefully and were unanimously approved by the judges.
Through the fierce competition, Yao Ziying was awarded the first prize in the final, Pan Qi and Xu Ziqi awarded the second prize, Li Xiayi, Zhao Xinyi and Zhang Linyue awarded the third prize, and Luo Shuang, Li Huofang, Yang Ting, Wang Haodong, Zou Biyuan and Chen Minglan awarded the winning prize. The judges presented awards to the winners.
Finally, Hu Wei, Senior Head of Human Capital Organization Department of BBK Group, made a comment. He said that the students career planning is very important, which can help college students raise their career level and clarify their career direction. He pointed out that although career planning is very important, it is more important to practice persistently. Only by integrating knowledge with practice can the mission be achieved. In a message sent to the students, he said that the students shall keep their initial heart, confidence and childlike innocence in the long career exploration, and strive to achieve a better self.
