Li Guowu, National Moral Model and Labor Model, Gives Lecture in HUTB

On the afternoon of April 17, Li Guowu, the national moral model, labor model, the winner of national "May 1st" labor medal and the general manager of Hunan Shisancun Food Co., Ltd., was invited to give a lecture themed by "Remaining True to Our Original Aspiration Makes Life Happiest” in HUTB which was presided over by He Tianxiang, Deputy Dean of the School of Tourism Management and attended by the representatives of teachers and students from the school.
Li Guowu shared the story of his mother's willingness to help others and to serve the society in the lecture. In the past, the oral cavity of infants and young children was prone to pustules due to the limited medical conditions in the local area. His mother was good at diagnosing and treating the disease and insisted on treating the patients for free. His mother's words and deeds are the instrument of his enthusiasm for public welfare, sincere work in his career, staying true to original aspiration and fighting for the dream. "Always have a heart of helping others and take dedication as pleasure; always have a heart of gratitude and put loyalty first; always have a heart of struggle and be proud of integrity." In his opinion, these "three hearts" shall not be forgotten for any career. The business scope of Shisancun Food Co., Ltd. has been continuously expanded since 2005. During this period, based on the honest management, Mr. Li Guowu has been enthusiastic about helping people in need for many times, actively solving the employment problems of surrounding villagers, and practicing "Three Hearts" with his own actions, thus reflecting the responsibilities of outstanding entrepreneurs.
Deputy Dean He Tianxiang summed up the lecture. He shared his knowledge and insights with the students, and encouraged them to actively exercise their planning skills and pay more attention to the application of knowledge in practice while learning theoretical knowledge.
Mr. Li Guowu and HUTB became attached to each other due to the Hunan Cultural Tourism Promotion Activity of "Amazing Hunan, YOUNG Blossom Age". Both parties share a common vision in talent training, serving local economy, and charity assistance activities. After the lecture, Mr. Li Guowu also presented the sauce gift boxes to 11 diligent and excellent students from the School of Tourism Management of HUBT, encouraging everyone to study well and do a good job, and do everything they could to actively assume the social responsibility.
