Student Apartment Management of Winter Vacation in 2021 Successfully Completed

The student apartment management of winter vacation was successfully completed on February 26. More than 300 domestic students and 10 international students had safely and successfully completed the learning, practice, work, scientific research and other projects on the campus. Student Apartment Management Service and Education Center of Student Affairs Division did everything possible to meet the demands of students in terms of living and safety.

During the winter vacation, Student Apartment Management Service and Education Center tried best to improve the service-oriented jobs throughout the whole process, from all directions and around the clock by arranging the personnel on duty to rectify the faults in time, providing the boiled water 24h for free and making the immediate response to emergencies. The Center also made the necessary stay-on-campus arrangements to guarantee the normal living of the students who were unable to return home for celebrating the Spring Festival from the high-risk areas or due to participation in the scientific research practice, postgraduate entrance exam, graduation internship, part-time job in winter vacation and other projects. In addition, the Center strengthened the internal inspection and supervision of the apartments with the students staying, promptly eliminated the hidden dangers, and educated the students to develop good living habits. All the students staying on the campus during the winter vacation performed well without any accident of safety. The Center conducted fine cleaning and regular disinfection for the apartments and public areas while doing a good job of management and service, and actively took epidemic prevention and control measures to create a safer, beautiful, warm, and comfortable living environment for students.
For providing the assistance to the national epidemic prevention and making response to the call of students from high-and-medium-risk areas to celebrate the New Year in the campus, the center paid the close attention to the physical and mental health and the demands of study and living for the three students who were unable to return to their hometown rated as high-and-medium-risk area for the New Year. The Center actively created the warm and festive atmosphere in the apartment, presented the care packages to the students who stayed in the campus to celebrate the Spring Festival and arranged teachers on duty to prepare the meals for such students and spend the New Year’s Eve and the Spring Festival with students.
Song Xingang, a Class 2018 student from the School of Economy & Trade, who spent the winter vacation on campus, said that “It is a precious experience to stay in the campus for the Spring Festival. Thanks to the care of the teachers of HUTB and Student Apartment Management Service and Education Center. I feel the warmth of the big family.” Mou Jing from Law 1802 said that "I am very grateful to HUTB and school for their attention to the students staying on the campus and the meticulous care of teachers. I did not feel lonely because of staying on the campus to celebrate the Spring Festival and my family was also very relieved."
The new semester has begun. Student Apartment Management Service and Education Center will continue to do best for the normal operation of student apartment to assist all students to start their study and living in the new semester smoothly, educate the students with heart and love, and help students grow up healthily and become the useful persons.
