School of Law & Public Administration Organizes League Lecture Themed at “Great Anti-epidemic Spirits”

On the evening of November 20, the School of Law & Public Administration organized a League lecture themed at “Great Anti-epidemic Spirits” at the Moot Court F101 of Lezhi Building. The League lecture was given by Mr. Zhang Guohui, Secretary of the School’s Sub Youth League Committee, and attended by the Student Union members of the Sub Youth League Committee as well as Youth League Committee members from all classes of students enrolled in 2020.

 


Around the theme of “Great Anti-epidemic Spirits”, Mr. Zhang meticulously explained to the students the spirits’ formation background and cause as well as their significance and role, etc. He mentioned that the great anti-epidemic spirits of “putting people's lives first, nationwide solidarity, sacrifice, respecting science, and a sense of mission for humanity” were nurtured under the leadership of the Communist Party of China and the hard work of the Chinese people. These spirits have reflected the brilliance of the new era. Besides, they have played a strong role in China's strategic operations of taking into account both domestic and international situations as well as advancing epidemic prevention and control while promoting economic and social development. More importantly, these spirits will serve as a great spiritual driver for comprehensively building a modern socialist country and realizing the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation.

 

This League lecture has deepened the students’ understanding of the anti-epidemic spirit, playing an important role in theoretical guidance. The students indicated that the great anti-epidemic spirits have strengthened their determination and confidence in realizing the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation. They said that in the future, they will study hard and move forward courageously with their mission.
