HUTB Held the Library's "Integration of Paper and Electronics" Innovative Service System Construction Seminar In the Post-epidemic Period

On the afternoon of Oct. 24, the Library's "Integration of Paper and Electronics" Innovative Service System Construction Seminar in post-epidemic period sponsored by Hunan Zhixin Culture Communication Co., Ltd., King Channels Digital Technology (Beijing) Co., Ltd., and organizedby Hunan University of Technology and Business Library, Social ScienceLiteraturePress, Science Press, Beijing Institute of Technology Press was held in HUTB. Hunan Provincial Higher LearningLibrary and Information Work Committee, Hunan Normal University Library, National University of Defense Technology Library, HUTB Library, Hunan Provincial Party School Library, Central South University of Forestry and Technology Library, Hunan Institute of Technology Library, Hunan University of Finance and Economics, etc. nearly 30 units were invited to participate in the conference, so as to discuss the impact and challenges of the COVID-19 epidemic on the library industry.

On behalf of the school, Curator Yi Songzhi warmly welcomed the arrival of leaders and experts from various units, and briefly introduced the running situation of Hunan University of Technology and Business. He pointed out that currently the library should actively adapt to the needs of the new era and jointly build an Innovative Service System of "integration of paper and electricity," thus providing effective and powerful services and support for resource construction, teaching and scientific research.

Subsequently, Zhou Lisheng, director of the Library Resource Development Department of Central South University of Forestry and Technology, representatives of the NUDT Library, and representatives of various publishing houses made keynote reports one after another, sharing how the library industry cohesive and overcome difficulties during the COVID-19 epidemic. Discussed how to issue a synchronous procurement policy and specific operation plan for paper books and e-books as soon as possible, analyzed how library distributors and publishers establish a reliable and feasible communication and procurement platform for users, and coordinated the benign interactive relationship between paper books and e-books.

After the conference, the participants visited Chufeng Academy of HUTB and highly acclaimed HUTB's achievements in running schools in recent years. (Library, Qin Xiaoqiong)
