Professor Chai Sufang from Hebei University Gives Lecture in HUTB

On the afternoon of September 22, Professor Chai Sufang from the School of Marxism Studies of Hebei University visited Hunan University of Technology and Business (HUTB)at its invitation, to give a special lecture, “Integrate Micro-film Art with Practical Teaching of Ideological and Political Course”. The lecture was presided over by Dean Peng Huancai and attended by all the teachers of the school.
In the lecture, Professor Chai Sufang reviewed the changes of the practical teaching methods for the ideological and political course in the School of Marxist Studies of Hebei University, and shared her bitter and happy experience in guiding the micro-film-based reform of practice teaching in the ideological and political course. She took the microfilms, Happy Sunshine, andHappy Sunshine 2as examples to present the “11349” characteristics of the micro-film-based ideological and political teaching reform. She pointed out that the process where teachers and students work together to act in a micro-film is actually a kind of total involvement in talent education. She added that the micro-film can serve as an effective mean to achieve the education goal of the ideological and political course and to help students deeply understand the theoretical knowledge.
After the lecture, Professor Chai cordially exchanged views with HUTB teachers. In the summative comments, the leaders of the school encouraged that HUTB teachers should actively learn from the successful experience that the School of Marxism Studies of Hebei University has accumulated in the practical teaching reform of the ideological and political course; the leaders urged that HUTB teachers should find the right foothold to explore a new model for HUTB’s practical teaching of the ideological and political course.
It is reported that Professor Chai Sufang is a supervisorfor doctoral and graduate students in the School of Marxism Studies of Hebei University. She was includedby the Ministry of Education intothe first batch of the “Funding Program for National Excellent Middle-aged and Young Backbone Teachers of Ideological and Political Course in Colleges and Universities”,theleadersof the first batch of the “Workshop of National Famous Ideological and Political Course Teachers in Colleges and Universities, the first batch of "National Influential Ideological and Political Course Teachers in Colleges and Universities”, and the headsof the first batch of “National Excellent Programs of Ideological and Political Work in Colleges and Universities”. Professor Chai has won many titles, such as the “Famous Teacher in Hebei Province”, the “Teaching Ethics Model in Hebei Province”, the “Advanced Individual for Talent Education in Hebei Province”, and the “Outstanding Teacher of Baosteel Education Award.
