School of Economy & Trade Visits Shaoyang for Enrollment Promotion

On July 25, Yin Yuanyuan, Zheng Houjian, Jin Saimei, Xie Fang, Tao Kaiyu, Zhang Hongjian, Li Yuege, Ma Haiyan and other teachers from the School of Economy& Trade enthusiastically visited Shaoyang for enrollment promotion. Themembersof the Shaoyang Alumni Association provided active support, making every effort in recruiting volunteers to assist these teachers.

To better publicize HUTB’s enrollment policy and attract outstanding students, the enrollment promotion team of the School of Economy& Trade had made a series of preliminary preparations: sending cooperation invitations in the alumni group online and announcing the process and requirements of enrollment promotion; training the alumni on enrollment promotion including enrollment policies and updated Q&As; arranging the layouts for the best consultation sites, assigning on-site tasks to volunteers to ensure the orderly operation of the enrollment consultation.

On the afternoon and evening of that hot day, Luo Junqiang, President of Shaoyang Alumni Association, Deng Qi, Zhong Jialin and other membersinteracted with the teachers who were still working on the enrollment promotion sites in Xinshao No. 1 Middle School and Xinshao No. 8 Middle School. Theyactively shared student resources, made exquisite banners, and arranged the best sites. They also went to relevant schools together with these teachers for site selection. HUTB teachers’ professionalism vividly impressed the alumni, and the alumni’s enthusiasm also inspired the teachers to go all out.

On the morning of July 26, President Luo Junqiang, together with Yang Jianzhong, Huang Liangqing, Wang Zhihua, Deng Qi, Liao Lifang, Zhong Jialin, Zheng Rongjun and other members, accompanied the teachers to the enrollment promotion sites in Shaoyang No. 1 Middle School, Shaoyang No. 2 Middle School, Longhui No. 1 Middle School, Xinning No.1 Middle School and other key middle schools. At these sites, theyexplained to the consulting students HUTB's advantages and characteristics, fully supporting and participating in the enrollment promotion. Xiao Meng, Chen Lingling, Zhu Peiyun, Zhang Xue and other HUTB students from Shaoyang also offered to help on the sites; Yang Jianzhong's 10-year-old and 6-year-old daughters also helped distribute materials in the enrollment promotion. At the sites, the consultingstudents and parentswere particularly concerned about HUTB's characteristic specialties, enrollment score lines, employment prospects and other aspects. Shaoyang alumni replied by enthusiastically and generously sharing their own learning and growth experience in the alma mater, “You see, I just graduated from this school. It has been years since my graduation. I’m always willing to stand for my alma mater and do whateverI can for her.” Shaoyang alumni's replies vivid demonstrated HUTB's original aspiration of “all for students, for their all, and for all students” and educational characteristics of cultivating innovative, entrepreneurial and applied senior professionals.
For HUTB, the excellent source of students is the foundation for its talent training and even matters to its future development. In this year’s enrollment promotion, the alumni demonstrated their sincere love for HUTB through active participation and enthusiastic efforts.
