University-enterprise Cooperation Negotiated by and between School of Literature and Journalism and TVZ ONE Media Company

On June 9, the leading members of School of Literature and Journalism and some professional teachers paid a visit to TVZ ONEMedia Company for work investigation and negotiation on university-enterprise cooperation.
Guided by the staff of the company, the visitors from School of Literature and Journalism visited various working platforms of TVZ ONE and got a detailed understanding of the production, distribution and marketing of the video contents of TVZ ONE television, internet and mobile internet, as well as the operation of TV play broadcasting rights. At the symposiumheld afterwards, Professor Peng Wenzhong, the Executive Deputy Dean, introduced the university running situationof HUTBand the discipline characteristics of the School. She said that university-enterprisecooperation is an important measure fortraining media talents, a brand new demand of the intellectual mediaera for training“technology+arts” outstanding media talents, and an effective way to realize the transition from traditional media education to intelligent media education. Mr. Chen Wudong, Deputy General Manager of TVZ ONE, introduced the company’s development historyand operation philosophy, hoping to carry out in-depth cooperation with HUTB in such fields asproduction, teaching and research.
Subsequently, the two sides had in-depth exchanges on graduates employment, optimization of talents training program, construction of specialized laboratories, construction of teaching caseslibraries, introduction of media projects into the campus, trainingof customized talents and other matters. The two sides hoped to give full play to and integrate the resource advantages of universities and enterprises, train and provide more outstanding media talents through the integration of production, teaching and research, and promote the convergence media research and new media industrydevelopment.
