Our Students Awarded Excellent in the Second Provincial MPA Cases Competition

In recent days, the Second MPA Cases Competition for Colleges and Universities in Hunan Province was finished successfully in Hunan Agricultural University.

The School of Law and Public Management of our university assigned an undergraduate group "Wulong Beautiful Maiden" composed of students from the administrative management major including Li Yue, Xiong Jieying, Zhu Yani, Zhang Yuan, Li Yuan and Yuan Jinying, and Doctors Wu Dingguo and Long Pu were their guide teachers.

With the joint efforts of teachers and students, the team provided the case text Analysis on Cooperation Engagement and Targeted Poverty Relief Mechanism under the Perspective of Poverty Governance - Take Shibadong Village at the West of Hunan as an Example through repeat discussion and consideration on subject selection, careful filtration and carding of data collection, continuous modification and concision of text writing. This case text is written based on the guideline about "targeted poverty relief" advocated by the General Secretary Xi Jinping, the theory of social governance and the practice of Shibadong Village at the west of Hunan province, which is the response to the targeted poverty relief policy of central senior management, also the countermeasures for the grass-roots society governance requirements of local government.

After the violent competition in initial contest, intermediary contest and final contest, the case text submitted by the undergraduate group of our university won the third place. (Xiong Jieying)
