University Labor Union and Adminstrative Organ General Party Branch Held a Special Lecture about Etiquette

On the afternoon of November 9, university labor union and organ general Party branch held a special lecture of "Beautiful because of Love - Build Charming Image of HNUC with Etiquette" at Room 301 of Office Building 2. Professor Yuan Difei of School of Journalism and Communication & Film and Television Arts of Hunan University was specially invited to serve as speaker of the lecture. The executive vice-chairman Luo Chuanling of university labor union presided over the lecture and all officers of branch labor union and organ Party members attended it.
Yuan Difei deeply set forth "non-authority influences" of etiquette on building personal image by combining classic cases and applying courteous behavior, natural expressions, dignified appearance, graceful movement, natural and unrestrained attitude, proper gestures, etc. in the aspects of personal looks, appearance, deportment, rite, etc. She pointed out that such natural influence was embodied by personal character, ability, knowledge, emotion, etc. in the work and life and was the factor which played a decisive and leading role in personal influences. She stressed that the ritual was a kind of inner attitude, was the presentation that people respect for themselves and others; Appearance was the external form and the politeness expressed by people through speech and deportment, behavior, clothing and so forth. Art language was the people's second visiting card and was one kind of special communication skill in the interpersonal communication. The etiquette existed everywhere which should be sublimated from the heart with emotion of love, rigorous attitude and respected sincerity. The working platform shall be cherished with building "ritual" by "love" and embodying "appearance" with "beauty". Lastly, professor Yuan gifted the words "respect in the heart to be displayed externally" to all teachers on the scene.
This lecture was one of series theme activities of "four behaviors" (wish behavior, creative behavior, diligent behavior and virtuous behavior) by university labor union and organ general Party branch based on combining working practice of each department, which aimed at guiding teachers to take initiative to serve essential work of the university, serve all teachers and students of the university based on their post, forming one kind of ideological consciousness, loyal assumption, pragmatic dedication and an atmosphere of diligent administration and keeping on thinking as well as building the image of staff members from HNUC, which was positive, kind, harmonious, beautiful, practical and efficient.
