School of Finance Held the 83rd ”Lushan Upperclassmen Forum”

On the evening of October 19, School of Finance held the 83rd "Lushan Upperclassmen Forum" at the classroom 2205 of north campus, and the lecture topic was What Kind of Experience Is It When Serving as Student Cadre, and the speaker was Huang Hongzhi from Insurance Class 1301.

This lecture was held for student union officers of School of Finance in 2016, class leaders and partial freshman representatives. In the lecture, the speaker Huang Hongzhi talked about some of his experience and feeling gained when serving as student cadre based on centering on "role definition of student cadre", "ability and quality to be possessed by student cadres", "several kinds of relations to be handled by student cadres" and "his experience and gain from student union". He thought that a qualified student cadre must be in possession of good comprehensive qualities including mind and body, morality, operational capability, etc. He also emphasized that student cadre shall be good at coordinating relationship between learning and work, and he told everyone that the scientific planning of in-school time was very important and it's necessary to balance the learning and work.

At last, upperclassman Huang Hongzhi gifted eight words -"look up at the starlit sky and come down to earth" to freshmen in 2016. He hoped that freshmen could find right orientation and positioning in the campus life and make themselves become more excellent! All freshmen in 2016 said that they benefited from this lecture a lot, had a clearer understanding about carrying out student work in the future and planning learning and life, felt upperclassman Huang Zhihong's personality charm and knew about outstanding results, and wanted to strive to improve themselves based on taking upperclassman Huang Zhihong as a model for the sake of making campus life rich and colorful.
