Teachers from Our University Were Evaluated as ”Most Influential Nomocracy Figure in Hunan Province in 2015”

Recently, noticed by superior departments, professor Yang Zhengrong of our university was evaluated as "Most Influential Nomocracy Figure in Hunan Province in 2015", and hired as an expert member of the First Selection Committee for Judge and Procurator in Hunan Province at the same time.

In order to earnestly implement the gist of the Fourth, the Fifth Plenary Session of the Eighteenth Central Committee of the CPC, carry forward spirit of rule of law, build nomocracy model, improve legal sense and concept of rule of law of the whole people and accelerate construction of nomocracy Hunan, Nomocracy Hunan Construction Leading Group Office of Provincial Party Committee and Hunan Provincial Department of Justice organized and carried out the selection activity for "Most Influential Nomocracy Figure and Nomocracy Event in Hunan Province" in 2015. Upon review and voting by experts and scholars and by combining voting score of the public, professor Yang Zhengrong of Hunan University of Commerce and other 9 persons and 10 events including the "Implementing Measures for Domestic Violence Warning System Released in Changsha City" advocated by Ma Xiaoyun-original assistant to the dean of Law School (taking a temporary post), were selected as "Most Influential Nomocracy Figure and Nomocracy Event in Hunan Province in 2015".

Recently, Founding Conference and the 1st Plenary Session of Selection Committee for Judge and Procurator of Hunan Province were held in Changsha, and noticed by superior departments, professor Yang Zhengrong of our university was evaluated as "Most Influential Nomocracy Figure in Hunan Province in 2015" and hired as an expert member of the First Selection Committee for Judge and Procurator in Hunan Province at the same time.

The Selection Committee newly founded was constituted by 58 persons. Xie Yong-deputy director of the Provincial Standing Committee of the NPC, served as the director of selection committee, Fan Yuntian- deputy secretary of Provincial Politics and Law Committee and other two persons served as deputy directors, and professor Yang Zhengrong of our university was hired as an expert member of the First Selection Committee for Judge and Procurator in Hunan Province. The establishment of the Selection Committee for Judge and Procurator in Hunan Province was a great event in the course of judicial system reform of Hunan Province, which embodied that selection for judge and procurator had entered into the stage of actual operation and would play an important role to promote the construction of specialized, professional and normalized judicial contingent, fair and incorruptible justice system.
