Children from Changsha No. 1 Welfare House Came to Hunan University of Commerce

On the morning of October 15, Changsha No. 1 Welfare House cooperated with School of Design Art of Hunan University of Commerce to carry out the theme activity of "Entering the University and Gallery" and children from the welfare house and caring parents amounting to over 60 persons came to Hunan University of Commerce, and entered the Buduo Hall Art Gallery for visiting artistic works and experiencing the campus life.

Narrated and accompanied by the curator of Buduo Hall Art Gallery Chen Gelin and deputy curator of Art Gallery Guan Hong, children firstly visited root carving artwork, painting and calligraphy artwork and then also experienced classical cultures such as tea ceremony, aroma doctrine, art of qin and art of calligraphy, etc. And then parents and children visited "college student creative market" and campus environment of Lingnan campus, had a meal at No. 4 canteen with college students, knew about manufacturing process of creative works from college students and experienced college students' daily life.

All caring parents said that this activity not only increased children's knowledge and trained their interest and hobbies in art but also made them experience the college life on zero distance which was helpful to children's healthy growth. (Yu Chaoxia)
