HNUC Second Secretaries Day Came to a Successful End

On April 26, during the celebration of the 64th “International Secretary Day”, the Second Secretaries Day activity series was started, sponsored by HNUC League Committee and School of Literature & Journalism, organized by the Department of Secretarial Studies of the School of Literature & Journalism.

This activity lasted for 2 days, covering 6 themes - secretarial studies specialty and excellent graduating class propaganda and display, flowers and invitation letters distribution, the 41st Lushan Forum of Alumni and Entrepreneur “Plan University Life, Help Future Career”, secretary theme lecture, and collection of praise for the gift.

At the party, Etiquette Exercise throughout the ancient and modern times displayed the evolution process of secretary etiquette and basic etiquette manners. The brilliant T-show was charming and received the constant cheers from audiences. Overseas student Alin sang a song Halo with her clean voice. Liu Shijie, the excellent graduate majoring in secretarial studies, sang a song I Say the Moonlight Tonight is So Beautiful, You Say Yes, touching the audiences’ heart again. This activity not only displayed the charm of secretarial studies specialty, but also made people fully know the responsibility and mission of this secretarial field.

It was learned that the secretarial studies specialty (program) has had 29 years of teaching history in our university. HNUC started to recruit students for the secretarial studies specialty (junior college) in 1988, and opened Chinese and English secretary (regular college course) program in 1994. The Ministry of Education established the secretarial studies as the characteristic specialty of undergraduate course in 2012, and HNUC obtained the qualification of undergraduate admission for secretarial studies in 2013.
