In October, three of HUTB's international students were selected as "International Ambassador" and actively participated in the filming and learning process of the "International Ambassadors Take You to See the Xiangjiang New Area" series video program, which was planned by CRI Online of China Media Group. Once the program was released, it garnered widespread attention from netizens both at home and abroad.

Currently, actively implementing the strategic deployment of "striving to build Changsha into a global R&D center" by the CPC Hunan Provincial Committee and the Provincial Government, the Hunan Xiangjiang New Area is forming a more extensive and higher-level open pattern. The series video "International Ambassadors Explore Xiangjiang New Area" focuses on the theme of the Xiangjiang New Area as the core leading region for building a global R&D center. Through the narration of HUTB's three international students in English, the videos highlight the advantages of the Xiangjiang New Area in terms of platforms, scientific research, talents, policies, scenarios, industries, and more. They convey a strong message to the world about the New Area's determination to become the core leading region in building a global R&D center.
The three "International Ambassadors" selected from HUTB come from Ghana, Malawi, and Russia respectively. They have studied professional knowledge in China and have good abilities to communicate and exchange ideas in both Chinese and English. Their participation in the filming of this series of videos not only enhanced their understanding and knowledge of Hunan, but also enabled them to showcase Hunan to the world through their narration. They presented a trustworthy, amiable, and respectable image of China, and conveyed Chinese stories and voices to the world in a positive way.
The international students expressed that they would cherish the opportunity to study in China, broaden their horizons, and improve their cross-cultural communication skills. They also stated their commitment to contributing to the development of their own countries and actively promoting friendship and cooperation between nations.
