On that morning, HNUC signed a strategic cooperation agreement with Yuelu District in 8 aspects to construct an innovation and start-up platform and its practice base, "Xiangshang Cultural Park", development think tank of modern service industry, organize "innovation and entrepreneurship" theme activity, promote interaction and communication of excellent talents in order, facilitate the transformation of scientific research achievements, construct civilized campus and communities. In the future, both parties will fully exert their advantages to build Maker Center, Xiangshang Mass Innovative Space, Wanchuang China ?Xiangjiang Center and other innovation and entrepreneurship platforms together. HNUC will plan a building area covering 2000-5000 m2 in the industrial building of Yuelu Science and Technology Industrial Park as the "Innovation and Entrepreneurship Base of HNUC" and plan more than 200 mu in the park for "Xiangshang Start-up Park" as the bases accepting the teachers and students of HNUC and the enterprises of HNUC alumni. The enterprises approved to be settled in the park will enjoy the industrial preferential policies of Yuelu District for innovation and start-up. At that day, the "Wanchang China ?Xiangjiang Center" was also unveiled.
Yuelu Science and Technology Industrial Park is located at the southwest of Yuelu District, which relies on good advantages of science education of Yeulu District to actively carry out district-university cooperation over the years. It focused on the construction of colleges and universities' achievements transformation platform such as Central South University Science Park, etc., and established a number of academician workstations, national and provincial engineering technology centers and laboratories.
