Zhuobi Village Aided by HUTB Passes National Poverty Alleviation Census and Acceptance with High Quality

On July 29 and 30, the National Poverty Alleviation Census Team arrived in Zhuobi Village, Longxipu Town, Xinshao County for the two-day census on and acceptance for the results of HUTB's pairing assistance for 129 impoverished households and 557 impoverished people in Zhuobi Village.
In the two-day census and acceptance, the Census Team adopted door-to-door visits, telephone surveys and other means to check the information related to the 129 impoverished households and the implementation of relevant assistance policies. In this way, they fully verified the current status of and improvements in impoverished households’ production and living conditions since China’s launch of targeted poverty alleviation. The impoverished households in Zhuobi Village acted positively in all the work of the National Poverty Alleviation Census Team. They reported the real great changes the targeted poverty alleviation program had brought to their families since its launch and earnestly cooperated with relevant census work and data collection. According to the census and acceptance results provided by the Poverty Alleviation Office of Xinshao County, all the impoverished people in Zhuobi Village are satisfied with HUTB’s pairing assistance, and this village has passed the State Council’s poverty alleviation census and acceptance with high quality.
As an important basic work to comprehensively test the results of poverty alleviation, the poverty alleviation census and acceptance will provide basic data support for the Party Central Committee and the State Council, so that they can duly announce the victory in poverty alleviation and in the building of a moderately prosperous society in all respects. Since early 2020, HUTB’s Poverty Alleviation Team Stationed in Village has followed the guidance of the Party Committee and the management to prioritize the arrangement and promotion of poverty alleviation. To ensure that the per capita net income of impoverished households steadily exceeds the current national poverty alleviation standards and that impoverished households have no worries about food and clothes and enjoy basic medical care, compulsory education, and housing provision, the Poverty Alleviation Team has earnestly organize special self-examinations and reviews to investigate and verify the poverty alleviation results for 129 impoverished households one by one.
