HUTB and Hunan Shijing Group Jointly Hold Signing and Plate-Conferring Ceremony for Industry-Education-Research Cooperation Base

On the afternoon of July 29th, HUTB and Hunan Shijing Group jointly held a signing and plate-conferring ceremony for the Industry-Education-Research Cooperation Base in the Conference Hall of Hunan Shijing Group. This ceremony was attended by Liu Guoquan, Vice President of HUTB, and Xie Jinguo, Chairman of Hunan Shijing Group, as well as relevant leaders of the School of International Business, the Academic Affairs Division, and the School of Mathematics and Statistics, teacher representatives, and senior leaders of Hunan Shijing Group.

In his speech, Vice President Liu Guoquan introduced the achievements HUTB has made in recent years and pointed out the development direction for the industry-education-research cooperation. He noted that HUTB adheres to the educational philosophies of “new engineering courses + new business courses” and strives to develop into a national first-class technology and business university with outstanding contributions. The cooperation between the two sides will allow college students to integrate what they learn with enterprise practices and enable HUTB and Hunan Shijing Group to complement each other's advantages and to share resources. Such cooperation will improve the pertinence and effectiveness of talent cultivation and provide more outstanding professionals for the regional economic development.

Xie Jinguo, Chairman of Hunan Shijing Group, introduced the company's development history and main construction projects. He expressed that the company greatly values the cooperation with HUTB and hopes to achieve a win-win situation through the industry-education-and-research cooperation.

On behalf of HUTB,Vice President Liu Guoquan, conferred the plate of “Hunan Technology and Business University Industry-Education-Research Cooperation Base” to Hunan Shijing Group. Zhang Yangbin, Dean of the School of International Business, and Zhou Xianlong, Executive Deputy General Manager of Shijing Group, signed the cooperation agreement on behalf of both parties. After the ceremony, the participants deeply exchanged views on the construction of the internship base and paid a field visit to the Shijing International Plaza project.
